Location Scouting
Octopix is based on a pool of the best location scouts in Paris who put their
« know-how » in common for their mutual benefits. Initially specialized in film location scouting, the focus came to be on photo shoots, where smaller crew allow shooting in more « intricate » locations. We love the challenge of finding that "impossible" location. We are only satisfied when you are.
Coordination
Our multilingual coordinators, who have the habit of working with international crews, happen to be a major link between the different contributors (local authorities, agencies, etc) and providers (for equipment, vehicules, etc).
Permits
We provide permits for exterior shoots (public gardens or parks, streets, monuments, etc) and cover the demand regarding buildings or works of art for which the usage as an image requires a permission.
Casting
We can manage castings or street castings. Our privileged contact with casting directors / studios, and agencies can be seen as a noticeable aspect in the organization of photo shootings.
Set Design
Our company is related to set designers and props stylists who are masters in creating sets and atmosphere previously imagined or suggested by the photographers we work with.
